Reference Videos
A short walkthrough captures spatial detail better than any image.
Tips for great worlds ↓
- ▸More angles = better worlds: Upload 5–15 reference photos from different viewpoints. The AI needs spatial coverage — a single image produces flat or repetitive geometry.
- ▸Video beats images: A 10–30 second walkthrough video (especially from World Labs environments or real spaces) gives the AI continuous depth information no stack of images can match.
- ▸Real photos outperform renders: Actual photography > 3D renders > concept art. Photos carry real lighting, depth cues, and material data that transfers more faithfully.
- ▸Be specific in your prompt: Name the time of day, lighting mood, and key materials. "A mossy stone courtyard at dusk, warm amber torchlight, cracked cobblestones" outperforms "medieval courtyard."
- ▸Combine text + images: Use both inputs together. The text prompt steers mood and detail; images handle geometry and scale. Neither alone is as powerful as both.
- ▸Avoid pure white or black spaces: Blank walls and featureless floors give the model nothing to reconstruct. Add texture, variation, and depth to every surface in your reference images.
